When Promises Don’t Make It Across
Mimma’s notes
A promise can look perfectly fine on paper.
The deal is closed. The numbers make sense. Everyone seems aligned.
Until reality has to carry it. That’s often where things start to shift.
Not because people don’t care, but because sales and execution don’t always share the same understanding of the promise.
Incoterms. Licenses. Delivery times Service commitments. Pricing assumptions.
“Small“ details… with big consequences.
Sales needs to understand execution. Execution needs to understand the promise. Because the customer experiences both as one.
A promise only works when both sides are aligned. And sometimes, before moving forward, you first need to build the bridge.
The big cat 🐈⬛ seems to think the Logistics Survival Kit might help. 😉 But will it be enough ?
Did this story make you smile?
