A little guilty pleasure for curious minds

KAT Curious Universe began with a simple idea: to make room for curiosity, creativity and a little humour.

In a world filled with news, opinions and distractions, it can be easy to overlook the wonders around us. Remarkable places, fascinating history, ingenious ideas, beautiful nature, delicious food and small everyday discoveries are still there, waiting for us to notice.

Mimma and Truffle explore that world with open minds and their own particular sense of humour. Along the way, a little imagination opens unexpected doors, while the real world remains at the heart of their adventures.

Creating KAT gives me the pleasure of learning, experimenting and bringing stories to life. Through those stories, I hope to offer you something small but worthwhile: a smile, a little breathing space, or a spark of curiosity.

If a visit occasionally makes you smile or lets you set your worries aside for a moment, then KAT has fulfilled its purpose. I like to think of that as my own small contribution to making the real world a little brighter.

How it started

It began about a year ago, with a few cartoons to become a little more visible on LinkedIn and a curiosity about AI. I had already used it for translations and polishing written messages. But what else could I learn, and what could I create with it?

After more than 37 years in business, it was refreshing to give my creativity a different outlet. Instead of using it mainly to solve business problems, I could develop characters, shape stories and make something simply for the pleasure of creating.

Each experiment brought another discovery. I kept learning, trying new things and enjoying the process. Gradually, the ideas wandered beyond work and logistics into food, travel and the little curiosities of everyday life.

Those stories needed a home of their own. LinkedIn had been a valuable starting point, but I wanted to respect its professional purpose rather than turn my feed into a picture book.

And so KAT Curious Universe began to take shape: a place where Mimma, Truffle and my curiosity could explore a little further.

A universe still unfolding

KAT is a living universe, growing one story, scene and small discovery at a time.

On your next visit, you might notice a new adventure, a familiar place with a different detail, or a door that has opened since you last explored. Some doors may close for a while; others are still waiting to reveal what lies beyond.

Take your time and look around. Curiosity leads us to open doors, and opening doors leads to discovery.
