Mimma’s notes

I've always loved wandering through bookshops. There's something wonderful about being surrounded by so many stories, ideas and discoveries, all waiting to be explored. The cookbook section especially holds a magnetic pull for me. I simply cannot pass by without catching a glimpse. Naturally, I found myself browsing the cookbooks.

Truffle, however, had other plans

To my surprise, he wandered straight into the Business & Finance section, where a bright red book caught his attention: The Way to Success.

He was fascinated. Apparently, he'd decided it was time to become successful.

I couldn't help smiling. Knowing Truffle, I suspect this little purchase might lead to some rather interesting conversations. After all, before you set out on the road to success, shouldn't you first ask yourself where that road is supposed to take you?

Something tells me we're going to have quite a few discussions about that book.

A Curious Move

The Future of Books

Not so long ago, buying a book meant visiting a bookshop, browsing the shelves and perhaps discovering something you hadn't even been looking for.

Today, we can download a book in seconds, carry an entire library on an e-reader or listen to a story while travelling.

Quite a transformation for an industry built around paper and ink!

And yet, physical books haven't disappeared. For many readers, there's still something special about turning real pages, admiring a beautiful cover or simply wandering through a bookshop.

Of course, digital books have their own advantages. Imagine taking hundreds of books on holiday without adding a single kilo to your luggage!

So, what does the future hold for books?

Perhaps it isn't a question of paper or digital. Perhaps there's room for both.

After all, whether we turn a page or swipe a screen, it's the curiosity to discover what's inside that keeps us reading.

Truffle’s verdict

“I haven't read a single page yet, but I already feel more successful!”
